ABOUT ME
I've been passionate about art ever since I was young, imagining vast worlds and the kinds of characters that could exist in them. To draw like the artists I look up to and bring my visions to life, I'm always looking to improve my skills. These days, you can usually find me drawing art of my characters and stories, and fan art featuring characters from my partner, friends and media I'm fond of.Outside of drawing, I enjoy caring for my snakes, thinking about my characters, talking to friends, and getting inspired by video games and animations! Wherever I go, I aspire to spread joy and whimsy...Thank you for your interest in my work :D

I do not allow reposting/tracing of any of my works—as in claiming it as your own, stealing, sake of promotion, etc. However, I only ask you credit me if uploading to something like Toyhou.se (my TH user - @frostybirdy) or using as a profile picture. If you're unsure about anything though, don't be afraid to ask. ☺
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long have you been doing art?
A: Ever since I was seven, I started drawing more often and at seventeen, I began taking it more seriously and studying to improve.Q: How do you draw so well?
A: Despite practicing and enjoying drawing for a long time, it wasn't until I started learning about the art fundamentals and listening to lots of advice from experienced artists on YouTube and other online resources that I began to improve so much more. We all start somewhere, and believing in yourself and the process is just the beginning of becoming the artist you want to be!Q: What art program do you use and what do you draw with?
A: As of June 2021, I got Clip Studio Paint EX and have been using that as my main drawing and animating program. To draw, I use a Wacom Cintiq 16. On iPad, I use Procreate and Toonsquid, but they definitely aren't my preferred programs—with the exception of a few of Toonsquid's unique capabilities.Q: What inspires you to make the characters you have?
A: Without a doubt, character designs in anime and manga have forever influenced the way I design and develop stories. I am also inspired by random things that spark my imagination, as I often come up with a spontaneous idea and sketch around with it until I'm satisfied.Q: What kind of music do you listen to?
A: Quite a variety! I save all my favorite songs to my YouTube playlist, which you can find here if you're curious!Q: How did you come up with your username, Frost/frostybirdy?
A: Frost Bird was a large blue chicken whose magical ability was materializing and manipulating ice—and was my first OC if you will—that I created in fifth grade. She was both a character for my first ever story, which I still develop to this day, and a persona; however, I have different variations of her now due to the differing stories she's been included in so far. As you can probably tell, her dog kemonomimi is my favorite version to represent as. Anyway, when I went to create my username, I wanted it to be inspired by her and found out that no other name was original (and as appealing to me) other than "frostybirdy."
