Nice to meet you!I am a big nerd with a passion for art ever since I was young. While I am finishing my Masters in Criminology and Criminal Justice, drawing is my cherished hobby and a close one to my heart. I am always looking to improve my skills so I can one day achieve the level of skill of those I look up to and create what I've always wanted to. These days, you can usually find me drawing art of my characters and stories; as well as fan art featuring characters belonging to my partner, friends and media I'm fond of.Some of my interests are animation, manga and web comics, video games, and getting to know cool folks like you! I'm also a big sucker for romance, horror, and adventure genres... but many others too. Other than that, I'm an avid chicken enthusiast and I enjoy spreading joy where I can.All the support and kindness I've received has meant the world to me since I embarked on my online journey in April of 2021. I'm happy to admit that it's thanks to you and my most wonderful and creative friends that I've been more inspired than ever to continue drawing and following my passion! Q: How long have you been doing art?
A: Ever since I was seven, I started drawing more often and at seventeen, I began taking it more seriously and studying to improve.Q: How do you draw so well?
A: Despite practicing and enjoying drawing for a long time, it wasn't until I started learning about the art fundamentals and listening to lots of advice from experienced artists on YouTube and other online resources that I began to improve so much more. We all start somewhere, and believing in yourself and the process is just the beginning of becoming the artist you want to be!Q: What art program do you use and what do you draw with?
A: As of June 2021, I got Clip Studio Paint EX and have been using that as my main drawing and animating program. To draw, I use a Wacom Cintiq 16.Q: What inspires you to make the characters you have?
A: Without a doubt, character designs in anime and manga have forever influenced the way I design and develop stories. I am also inspired by random things that spark my imagination, as I often come up with a spontaneous idea and sketch around with it until I'm satisfied.Q: What kind of music do you listen to?
A: Quite a variety! I save all my favorite songs to my YouTube playlist, which you can find here if you're curious!Q: How did you come up with your username, Frost/frostybirdy?
A: Frost Bird was a large blue chicken whose magical ability was materializing and manipulating iceโand was my first OC if you willโthat I created in fifth grade. She was both a character for my first ever story, which I still develop to this day, and a persona; however, I have different variations of her now due to the differing stories she's been included in so far. As you can probably tell, her dog kemonomimi is my favorite version to represent as. Anyway, when I went to create my username, I wanted it to be inspired by her and found out that no other name was original (and as appealing to me) other than "frostybirdy."
